Amber's journey as a clinician began at Texas State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 2014.  Amber then transferred to The University of Texas at Arlington where she received a Masters of Science in Social Work in 2015.  Amber is Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and  a Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) Provider.  In addition, she is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and am trained in the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method.   


Amber takes a holistic approach in her therapy practice because healing happens in the mind body and soul.  Amber strives to ensure that she practices cultural humility and inclusion in her work.  That being said, Amber welcomes people from all backgrounds. Her areas of expertise include trauma related issues such as intimate partner violence, childhood trauma, religious trauma and sexual abuse.  Amber can also provide support for those working through life transitions, grief/loss, family of origin conflict, and dealing self-esteem issues.

Amber believes that everyone can benefit from therapy.  She recognizes how difficult seeking help can be and acknowledges the strength it takes to start counseling.  Amber is passionate about helping her clients reclaim their voice and realize self-empowerment. Amber knows that there is hope through healing...infinite hope.

KRISTINA KIRWIN, LCSW

After graduating from Boston College in 2012 with dual Bachelor’s of Arts degrees in Economics and Hispanic Studies, Kristina spent 8 years working in the financial technology industry. In 2019,  Kristina decided to leave her career in the corporate world to pursue her passion for mental health. Kristina received her Masters of Science in Social Work from Simmons University in 2021. Kristina specializes in trauma and is trained in evidence based practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Kristina also specialize in perinatal mental health and is passionate about helping clients through their fertility, pregnancy and postpartum journeys.

Kristina's approach to therapy is client-centered and strengths based. Kristina believes everyone can benefit from therapy as they work to confront traumatic experiences or everyday stresses. Kristina is committed to creating a supportive and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment for clients to explore their feelings and work through difficult issues.  She has experience working with individuals from a wide variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds who are struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, loneliness, grief, domestic violence, life transitions, pregnancy and the transition to parenthood.
